SERBIA – BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA – CROATIA

​DAY 1 SPLIT
Meet & greet followed by a private transfer to your hotel. Free time followed by two hours walking tour of the historic center of Split! Split is the largest and most important town in Dalmatia. Visit the remains of the Diocletian's Palace (UNESCO site), built between the late 3rd and the early 4th centuries A.D. The cathedral was built in the middle Ages, reusing materials from the ancient mausoleum. Romanesque churches, medieval fortifications, 15th -century Gothic palaces and other palaces in Renaissance and Baroque style make up the rest of the protected area.
 
DAY 2 SPLIT – TROGIR – SALONA - SPLIT
Take a visit to Salona and Trogir. Trogir, UNESCO protected a town museum. Lovers of cultural and historical monuments, art, architecture and nice alleys are given the opportunity to learn about manifold and complex heritage - from Romanesque yard to the modern interiors. The unique historical core, Radovan’s portal, has been arousing excitement among visitors and travelers for centuries. The Roman province of Dalmatia, through its access to the sea, was the neighbor of every maritime country. There are numerous historic and archaeological sources to prove that the Adriatic Sea played an important role in Roman trade.While it may be difficult to establish a precise date for the arrival of earliest Jewish traders to the Adriatic, we have enough evidence to set up the period between 3rd and 5th centuries for their presence on the Eastern Adriatic Coast.The most numerous pieces of evidence were found in Salona which was the capital city of the Roman province of Dalmatia and the most important harbor and market place in that part of the Empire.
 
DAY 3 SPLIT – MOSTAR
Throughout the idyllic green oasis of the Neretva River canyon, which many find is one of the most beautiful in Europe, you will emerge into sunny Herzegovina and feel the Mediterranean breath the way Bosnians do. Upon arrival to Mostar, proceed with sightseeing tour of Mostar, world famous for its Old Bridge, its alleys and shops bathed with sunshine, scents and the river Neretva. Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (natively: mostari) who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.
 
DAY 4 MOSTAR - SARAJEVO
Sightseeing of Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia & Herzegovina. The city is historically famous for its traditional cultural and religious diversity, with adherents of Islam, Orthodoxy, Catholicism and Judaism coexisting there for centuries. Due to this long and rich history of religious and cultural variety, Sarajevo is often called the "Jerusalem of Europe". The city is rich in museums, including the Museum of Sarajevo, the Ars Aevi Museum of Contemporary Art, Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina and much more.
 
DAY 5 SARAJEVO – BELGRADE
Drive to Belgrade with short stops for a rst on the way. Afternoon arrival to Belgrade. Panoramic and walking city tour of Belgrade which includes: Dedinje residential district with its numerous villas and mansions which is considered as a wealthiest part of the city; Topcider Park one of the oldest parks in Belgrade with marvelous residence of Prince Milos Obrenovic; St. Sava Temple, the biggest Orthodox temple on the Balkans; Slavija Square; Parliament building; Republic Square; Knez Mihajlova pedestrian zone with large number of shops, cafes, restaurants; and much more. Return to hotel.
 
DAY  6 BELGRADE – SREMSKI KARLOVCI – NOVI SAD – BELGRADE
Departure to northern part of the country called Vojvodina. Visit Krusedol and Grgetek Monasteries settled on Fruska Gora Mountain. Proceed to the little charming town named Sremski Karlovci where you will see Patriarchy Residence, the most monumental building from the 19th century in Vojvodina region, which represents the seat of the Orthodox bishop of Srem; Orthodox Cathedral, baroque church dedicated to St. Nicolas; Catholic Church dedicated to the Holy Trinity; and much more. Situated on the  shores of the Danube north of Belgrade, Novi Sad, our next stop, is a picturesque, friendly city in Serbia`s Vojvodina province. Serbia second largest city boasts the impressive 17th century Petrovaradin Fortress, which features beautiful courtyards, walkways and a system of underground tunnels.
 
DAY 7 BELGRADE departure
Transfer to the airport for outbound flight.
