DAY 1 ZAGREB
Zagreb City Tour - historic Upper and Lower town; Upper town is on a high plateau above Lower town and home to Zagreb’s Cathedral and parliament building. Lower town is a more modern area known for museums and the Croatian National Theatre. Square Ban Jelacic’s is the main square where the Upper and Lower Towns meet.
DAY 2 ZAGREB – OSIJEK
Osijek is a popular tourist destination for its Baroque style, open spaces and ample recreational opportunities. The most important sights in the city include the main square, the 18th century Baroque citadel and the promenade along the Drava. Osijek's fortress complex was built in the 18th century with impressive defensive walls and town gates, Romanic nucleus and rectangular Main Square, therefore Osijek is the most important military, economic, administrative and cultural center of Slavonia.
DAY 3 OSIJEK – BUDAPEST
Transfer to Budapest. Upon arrival we visit the Heroes Square and City Park followed by the city tour of Budapest. We will pass by the famous Opera House on the magnificent Andrassy Avenue and take an inside visit at St. Stephen Basilica. The Basilica is surrounded with some nice souvenir shops. stay overnight.
DAY 4 BUDAPEST – BRATISLAVA
We continue our trip with the Citadel panoramic view stop on the top of Gellert Mountain followed by the historical Buda Castle, on the Castle Hill. It was founded in the 13th century after the Mongol invasion. The historical castle and palace complex served as the main seat of the Hungarian kings for centuries. Today the Castle, often referred to as the Royal Palace (Budavári Palota), is the home to a number of cultural institutions, including the National Gallery and the Budapest History Museum. Then Head to Bratislava – Capital of Slovakia.
DAY 5 BRATISLAVA – VIENNA
After Breakfast walk around Main Square in Bratislava Old Town and learn about Slovakian history and culture from a professional guide Admire the Classicist architecture of Primatial Palace (Primaciálny Palác) Stroll through the quiet and beautiful Franciscan Square Visit St Martin’s Cathedral, once the coronation site of Hungarian kings. And then visit the Cinderella like castle – Bojnice castle, most beautiful and well equipped castle in Slovakia. You will see Golden room, Ball room, oldest lime tree and more. There is lake, swans and beautiful park around. After the castle we will head to the beautiful place - traditional Slovak village with wooden cabins and paintings on the walls. We will go to the museum where you will find out more about old Slovak traditions and how people where living. Glass of Bosacka slivovica (distilled plum beverage) is also prepared for you. Then transfer to Vienna.
DAY 6 VIENNA
City tour- all the sights we can do with the bus like the Rings trasse, with Opera house, Townhall, Imperial winterresidence (Hofburg) the former winter residence of the imperial family. the national museums, the most famous monument, Saint Charles Church etc. Then we walk around the beautiful gardens and up to the Gloriette. At Schönbrunn. After that drive to the center for a two hours city walk with the courtyards of the winter palace, the most interesting old town squares, St. Peters Church and St. Stephans cathedral.
Day 7 VIENNA
Departure home.
